But this issue shows the benefit of term limits. It goes without saying that this list is all good ideas, and that a good number of our representatives know this. But almost none of it would be popular, and the mortgage and insurance tax treatments are politically untouchable. The media has power over a congressman only as long as he hopes to be re-elected.
